Caught the premiere of Rivermaya’s new tune called "Sunday Driving" at MYX. impeccable video to a very tight song. I once saw Mr. Blanco interviewed on TV and he came off as an all-knowing, calculating controlling jerk. still if he churns out hi-quality songs then God bless jerks like him.
Well if theres one thing you can do simultaneously with anything is listening to music, and over the course of my last update, i have now moved to indie alternative rock music pallete, i am now listening to the Shins, Death Cab for Cutie, Wilco and the Postal Service. Probably the staples of the genre that is now all the rage at the US, the OC effect. Hmmm, my extreme fickle nature is apparent in my shifting musical preferences. Let’s see the bands occupying my airwaves from the yesteryears to the now.

As you can see, i have traversed the whole spectrum of rock music (well except for the two first ones, forgive me, i was only 10!). the one thing i cannot, for the life of me, bring myself to like, is death metal. I consider myself open minded… i can see the allure of bubblegum pop, country music, folk, jazz, hip-hop, r & b, but ive given up on salvaging any artistry of unkempt men dressed in unfailing black growling about Satan and death.
Well, well, well…. Waddya know? I finally gotten around to updating my blog, what with all these readying for work, big tasks at work, fatigue from work, and thinking about work, Man, i desperately need a vacation or better yet a raise. Anyway, what will follow will be a salvo of blog updates as i have now found myself with enough time to channel my thoughts to my fingers.
Friendster and blogging?! What took them so long! Anyhoot. As a man who loves convenience like its something that can be eaten for lunch, i guess id have to migrate from my old blog site. Well, ill keep this short cause June is coming and i havent done anything significant on my new job. Except flirt with the ladies (significant because it boosts co-workers moral)
